I had a rough go at seminary. I've taken sort of an ecclectic approach--started at one seminary, took a couple class at another, audited a class at another, now I'm looking into another. The diversity has been excellent. Some question it for silly reasons; "Their reformed", or "Their Presbyterian", or "Are they really conservative?" I've had to put seminary on hold for providential reasons. Lord willing, I'll be able to resume my formal studies soon.
Well, I wish that I had sound advice like this before I started out. Not that I've missed out. Granted, no seminary is perfect, but this is great advice for those just starting out.
