Banner of Truth. Whether or not you get the freebie, this is an excellent book and well worth the money. Murray provides much detail on the theology and activities of the people who ministered in this era. I read this book ten years ago and came away with a better understanding of the current state of American Christianity and with encouragement that God can once again revive His doctrine and His people.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. I have this book already. It's an amazingly thorough work. I've not read it entirely, but was able to pick through some of it about a year ago. I haven't found anything Iain Murray has written that isn't great.
