It came to my attention that the NT Commentaries list file was corrupt. I have solved this by splitting up the list and uploading them to the web. Now, you will find the following three lists of NT commentary recommendations.Please download these and the other lists and use them as you build your study library. I hope that they will be a help to you. Also, I'd be glad to receive your comments on the lists.
I, alone, am to blame for any errors, but I will be glad to correct any that you may find. Any suggestions you may have for improving these list will be helpful.
I recently learned of Dr James E. Rosscup's work entitled Commentaries for Biblical Expositors. Sun Valley, CA: Grace Books International 2004. Updated with ca. 360 entries new since 1992. (Purchase: GBIbooks.com). I'm hoping to get my own copy soon and to update TheoSource with Dr Rosscup's recommendations.
I've also received a copy of Dr Daniel Akin's commentary recommendations and the latest edition of Tremper Longman's Old Testament Commentary Survey. I will be working to update the database with these recommendations, too.
