Posting has been very light over the past few weeks due my family's transition from South Carolina to Alabama. We are now in Alabama, but we still have a house that needs to be sold in Charleston. My wife is teaching 5th graders at a local Christian school and I am looking for work. We would appreciate your prayers for us during this time.
- Please pray that the Lord would provide a buyer for our home and that it would sell for a fair price.
- Please pray that the Lord would provide a ministry opportunity or a job for me.
- Please pray that the Lord would open a way for me to be able to pick up and continue my education.

ReplyDeleteI appreciate everyone's prayers for us! I had a good interview this past Saturday, and I have been called back for a 2nd interview tomorrow. In the meantime, the principal at the kids' school has asked if I would be willing to sub and do odd jobs for him. Today I substituted for the elementary and jr. high PE teacher. Wow! That was an experience! I had fun. At least my job was to get them all worked up rather than trying to keep them quite and busy working.
ReplyDeleteI already have another opportunity to sub at the school. Now I need to decide which way to go: ministry at the school or management at Home Depot. I'm leaning towards the school. There is not guarantee of a permanent position right away, but this could be "a foot in the door."
Someone else was scheduled to view our house this evening. We are still praying for it to sell!!!!
