(R. C. H. Lenski on Philippians 3:21)
Phil. 3:20-21 (ESV) "But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself."
This same power that will raise our dead and decayed bodies is currently at work in us who believe, the elect of God. The Apostle Paul earnestly desired to "know [Jesus Christ] and the power of his resurrection" (Phil. 3:10). Paul likewise prayed that we might come to know "what is the immeasurable greatness of [the Father's] power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places" (Eph. 1:19-20). Therefore, Paul concludes, "be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might" (6:10).
Now that's omnipotent resurrection, indeed. Already active and great enough to raise all (without exception) at the last day!
