Old Testament Commentary Rec's
Have you ever stood in front of a library shelf full of commentaries and theological studies on a particular book of the Bible and wondered to yourself, "Where do I begin?"Yes, this is a "rookie" confession, but also one that is true for any student of the Scriptures at times. So, where does one begin?
I've tried to gather together as many recommendations of Old Testament Commentaries as I've been able to get my hands on.

1. Old Testament Historical books. 512kb .pdf file, 397 titles.
2. Old Testament Poetical books. 298kb .pdf file, 188 titles.
3. Old Testament Prophetical books. 458kb .pdf file, 341 titles.
I would be glad for any comments or suggested additions. There are other lists, and none are considered to be complete (and never will be for obvious reasons). I will highlight other sections in weeks to come.
